Job Summary: Project Coordinator

Under direction of the ­­Director of Quality and Population Health and in close partnership with the corporate compliance and the clinical practice teams:

  • Coordinates on-time deliverables for clinical grant activity
  • Coordinates data and information gathering from clinical teams
  • Researches available grant opportunities
  • Coordinates organizational document management
  • Provides project coordination support for the organization’s annual quality and patient safety plan

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Clinical grant activity support including meeting facilitation, documentation, timelines, communication plans, deliverables, and progress reporting.
  • Provides status reports including barriers to project and grant implementation activities to the leadership team and organizational committees
  • Reviews federal, state, non-profit and commercial grant opportunities and advises leadership on opportunities for the organization.
  • Supports clinical grant teams with data gathering and information to apply for clinical grants
  • Coordinates and supports on-time review of all organizational policies and clinical protocols in collaboration with document owners and Compliance Director
  • Communicates appropriate grant and policy information at organizational forums
  • Data collection from the Electronic Medical Record and other patient information databases to support quality program improvement activities and clinical grant requirements

  • Administrative Operations Director
  • Practice Managers

Education and/or Experience:

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related field
      • A minimum of 5 years of project coordination experience in healthcare may be considered in lieu of a professional degree
    • 3-5 years of project coordination experience
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including effectively navigating and facilitating virtual meeting forums
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Preferred
    • Knowledge of EPIC or OCHIN EPIC EHR
    • AZARA DRVS knowledge
    • Experience with healthcare grants and healthcare quality
    • Lean or similar process improvement experience
    • Previous Healthcare experience is a plus

Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification - completion within 12 months of hire if not current
