Job Summary: Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide overall hiring strategy and is an expert in finding, screening, and attracting qualified applicants that meet the demands of the organization and the employees throughout the hiring process. They own the end-to-end process of talent acquisition. Provide project and task-related support in recruiting, staffing and onboarding. Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind. Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives. Closely communicates with Executives and JPCHC leaders to determine the specific needs of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage all open requisitions, making sure to keep all parties up to date and on track
- Prepares and extends offers of employment to all levels of staff, which includes the preparation and extension of provider contracts.
- Develop recruitment strategies for identifying, engaging, and hiring the best talent for multiple hiring requisitions
- Assist in screening resumes and conducting phone screens for clinical positions.
- Build and develop diverse talent pools from both internal and external candidates to ensure a faster time to fill for future hiring requisitions
- Network strategically with local schools, organizations, and community to build applicant pipelines.
- Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events
- Ensures candidate communication is maintained and documented within the automated recruiting database
- Oversee any HRIS/ATS system upgrades and implementations and acts as a subject matter expert for ATS systems.
- Participate in operational workforce planning. Collaborate with business and human resources leaders to understand recruitment and talent needs; short and mid-term.
- Build strong relationships with hiring leaders, business partners and key stakeholders to understand skills, experiences, business and cultural requirements for talent.
- Keep records of materials, notes and files used for recruitment
- Develop relationships with and manage third party vendor relationships as necessary
- Track and manage relevant recruiting metrics, focused on quality of hire, and contribute to reporting of TA dashboard to talent team, business and HR leaders.
- Assist in ongoing education with leadership and team members on policies and procedures in conjunction with Human Resources and their actions related to State and Federal labor laws.
- Continually evaluate recruitment and selection process and tools, recommending and implementing enhancements
- Manage the Provider onboarding process, continually evaluating to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience
- Partners with hiring managers to identify, evaluate required responsibilities, knowledge, and competencies regarding job requirements. Create and/or update job descriptions based on given information and research.
- Serve as the liaison between the company and the candidate by handling phone calls, questions and other details during the recruiting process
- Help develop and maintain the company’s culture, energy and brand throughout the interview experience by creating an exceptional candidate experience
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two to three (2-3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a healthcare facility preferred
